MycoKey is a mycological information system.
In MycoKey you can search for genera and species or use the synoptical (multi-access) keys to identify your fungi (more . . .). The full MycoKey application can be downloaded from www.mycokey.com and installed in your PC (Mac/Windows).

The synoptical keys in MycoKey are driven by a database. These keys are only partly available via the internet (see the Morphing Mushroom Identifier) although direct internet searches for genera and species can be done using the MycoKey Quick Search feature

To give access to all pictures and generic diagnoses in MycoKey without performing a database search we have created the below lists from MycoKey version 4.0. They contain about 1,100 genera of fungi, about 3,300 species and more than 8,400 pictures.
