In August 2000 Christian Lange and Jens H. Petersen (University of Aarhus, Denmark) were in Ouagadougou to give a course in mycologi at the local university. During our stay we collected and photographed about 80 findings of fungi.

Back in Denmark we were as usual buisy with other mycological duties, but fortunately some of our fellow mycologists and specialists in various groups have helped us putting names on a number of collections. We thank Thomas Læssøe and Tobias Frøslev for their time and energy -- se under"the funga".

The resulting knowledge and pictures, however limited, is presented at this website, which will hopefully grow and improve in the future.
